Asus K53E B1 Laptop Review Specs and Price

The brown mocha frame seems very ordinary from a slight distance, but you cant fully appreciate the design until you put your hands on it. The plastic feels like synthetic leather, while the interior of the laptop is covered in aluminum—a nice play on two of the most commonly used materials in laptop designs. Though the design isnt the caliber of the aluminum-covered Apple 15-inch (Thunderbolt) and Dell XPS 15 (Sandy Bridge) ($1,785 direct, 4 stars), the K53E-B1 is a better looking laptop than the Samsung RF510-S01US ($750 street, 3.5 stars) and Dell Inspiron 15R-1847MRB ($730 list, 3.5 stars). At 5.8 pounds, its only a few ounces heavier than the Apple 15-inch (5.5 lbs).

Enchanting Combination

Armed with top-class components, this notebook offers excellent performance. Combined cool design and complete facilities, the notebook did seem tempting. Material classy, touchpad double function, and good performance. That is part of efforts to make the Acer Aspire 5943G notebook to be different than the other. Understandably, the price is quite expensive, 15.4-inch notebook of this size is one of the most expensive notebooks in the range of Acer notebooks.

But the price is offset by a series of advantages that have been referred to above. In terms of material, for example, Acer uses aluminum material that surrounds the back and notebook keyboard size is 15.4 inches. The use of aluminum can be seen in contrast with a black plastic material that characterizes the area around the screen and armrest.

The keyboard itself using a separate design measuring 15x15 mm with a wide spacing between the keys. As a result, the process of typing feels very comfortable and natural. However, similar praise can not be addressed to the touchpad. The reason, the touchpad using glass materials. From the side it looks cool, but the touchpad is made from glass having two major problems: the movement feels sluggish and very easy to get dirty.

Honestly we never feel the need for special multimedia keys, but this method is to bring a futuristic effect of this notebook.

Meanwhile, to boost performance, this notebook weighs 3 kg equipped upscale component to ensure all applications run smoothly. Just look at the processors that use Intel Core i7 740-QM (4 core, 1.73 GHz). For business graphics, this notebook is relying on ATI Radeon HD5650 (1GB). This combination makes the Acer Aspire 5943G is tough in many applications, such as you can see from the test results. Which is also fun, this notebook battery could reach 2 hours to play video and 4.5 hours to run the text.

But there is one thing that disrupt the use of this notebook, which is the heat generated. The combination of poor cooling system and the use of magnesium material make the keyboard area feels hot when it is fully loaded for a long time.

Lenovo ThinkPad X121e Laptop 11 6 Inci Ultraportable With AMD Fusion or Intel Core i3

Lenovo has been offering the latest ultraportable ThinkPad series laptops with screens measuring 11.6 inches for several years. This time Lenovo ThinkPad X121e comes with a choice of AMD or Intel chips. The new laptop will be launched initially in Japan and Europe.

Processor options will include:

1 GHz AMD C-50 dual core processor with a Radeon HD 6250 graphics
1.6 GHz AMD E-350 dual-core processors with the Radeon HD 6310 graphics

This notebook when running AMD Fusion C-50 or E-350 is claimed to achieve 3.5 to 4.1 hours endurance with a three-cell battery, or 7.2 hours with a pack of six cells, whereas variants of the Core i3 said to have reached 3.8 or 7.7 hours depending on battery options.
